Well Jacob's back into loving school, and now no longer wants to come home (probably because he doesn't want to nap). So he's fighting his naps, and a real... treasure in the afternoon. I'm very tired because the kids have been getting up at 6, despite the reduced napping on both of their parts and the good bedtimes. Sigh.
I drove an extended route home from picking up Jacob in the hopes that he'd fall asleep (Mali was already sleeping) and when I decided to just go home, put Mali down and lay down in Jacob's room while he played, she woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed. So much for that bright idea.
I know it could be way worse. Especially as I think of my friend who's daughter is in the hospital for testing. She's had a fever for a long time and an elevated white blood cell count. The docs still don't know what's up... I just hope and pray everything turns out alright.
Now I have to tend to the kids, or at least make sure I don't fall asleep until after *their* bedtime.
So tired.
